Holy Crap!

Months after the house passed the cap and trade legislation (which has thus been stalled in the house) the president actually spoke about how if we don't stop now our planet could end up like Venus (with a surface temperature of about 460 C which adds up to about 860 F)! Mind you, it would take thousands of years for our problem to get this bad, but seeing as how we've made it this far, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that humanity at least wants to make it another millennium or two.
